Marygold was born in an alley in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago about 6 years ago. When bike shops were overwhelmed with the pandemic bike boom, Chucky would bring his bike stand to the alley and help friends with simple repairs in exchange for Twisted Teas. After that summer, Chucky moved the bike stand into a spare bedroom, gave the shop a name, and started accepting money … and Twisted Teas. There, the shop was able to turn strangers into customers until another move a year later. 

We ended up at a studio just a few blocks away, still in Logan Square, where Marygold was able to grow into itself for a few years. The studio gave us the ability to grow our services and strengthen our community ties. 

Marygold is now a service focused shop with an emphasis on community, custom builds, and bike camping. We want you to feel comfortable and welcome every time you come into the shop. 

We are very excited be in the Hamline-Midway neighborhood of St. Paul.
